Meet Belle – The Dog Who Started It All

Every business has a story. Ours started with four paws, a wagging tail and a dog called Belle.

If you've found your way to Belle & Bark, we'd love to introduce you to the girl behind it all.

Meet Belle. She's beautiful, full of character, occasionally stubborn and, if we're being completely truthful, pretty much runs our household.

We're just the humans who pay the bills!

Life With Belle

Like most dog owners, we can't really imagine life without her.

She's part of our family, part of our adventures and usually at the centre of whatever we're doing.

Whether we're exploring somewhere new, heading away for a few days or simply enjoying time at home, Belle is never far from our side.

And like any dog, she has her own little personality.

She knows what she wants, has a talent for getting her own way and somehow manages to make us laugh even when she's being a complete pain!

But that's what we love about her.

It Hasn't Always Been Easy

As much as we'd love to say Belle's life has been one big adventure, it hasn't always been plain sailing.

She's had more than her fair share of health problems, veterinary visits and difficult moments.

There have been times when we've worried ourselves silly about her.

Anyone who's ever had a poorly dog will understand that feeling. You'd do absolutely anything to make them better, but sometimes all you can do is be there, give them the care they need and hope for the best.

Through it all, Belle has shown us just how resilient dogs can be.

And if anything, those experiences have made us appreciate our time together even more.

Because the truth is, we never get enough time with our dogs.

So Where Did Belle & Bark Come From?

It started with a simple idea.

We wanted to create something inspired by Belle and our love of dogs.

Initially, that meant putting together boxes filled with natural treats, toys and goodies for other much-loved dogs.

But as time went on, we realised we wanted Belle & Bark to become something more.

A place where we could share adventures, discover dog-friendly places, offer helpful information and celebrate the wonderful, sometimes chaotic experience of sharing our lives with dogs.

And importantly, we wanted to do some good along the way.

That's where our little motto comes in.

Dogs Helping Dogs.

Our mission is simple: to help as many dogs as possible enjoy the life they deserve.

We're a small family-run business, building things around our everyday lives, and we've still got an awful lot to learn.

But we're enjoying the journey, and we've got plenty of ideas for where we'd like to take Belle & Bark.

What's Next?

Well, that's part of the fun.

There'll be stories from Belle's adventures, dog-friendly holidays, useful tips, new ideas we're working on and probably the occasional disaster along the way.

We won't pretend everything is perfect, because real life with dogs rarely is.

But we hope you'll enjoy following along.

And from time to time, Belle might even take over the keyboard herself.

Although we're not entirely convinced she'd get much further than typing the word TREATS.

From Our Family to Yours

If there's one thing Belle has taught us, it's that dogs bring something incredibly special into our lives.

They make us laugh, they drive us mad, they worry us and they love us without asking for much in return.

And that's worth celebrating.
